After a nice sleep in, we had a very relaxing day. I flushed
the water maker and did a few other odd jobs including cleaning all the Port
Headland red dust off the boat as well as all the encrusted salt covering
everything.
In the afternoon Liz from Cosmic
Drift came over and we invited all the Kimberly cruisers over to Sirocco for
drinks and diner.
Putu made some paster and corn fritters and we were joined
by Michael & Liz from Cosmic Drift, Peta from Selkie and Andrew from Uno
Mass.
We had a great night and exchanged stories of our individual
adventures so far and passed along a lot of valuable information to each other.
Due to the huge tides in Broome and the lack of facilities and
the long distance into town, we formulated a plan to team up and resupply three
of our boats tomorrow using Dewa’s car.
