After rocking and rolling all night, we decided to move to
Mauds Landing just outside of the marine park where we were free to swim, fish,
spit and pee without the ranger watching us in his binoculars.
I didn’t feel welcome in this town anymore and its clear
they don’t want any private boats as all activities within the marine park must
be through one of the many commercial operators.
We anchored close in at Mauds Landing, close to a mono hull
and a large cat came in just on dusk.
I went for a troll around the old jetty hoping to catch
dinner, but it was cold, windy and wet and nothing biting, so I went back to
Sirocco for dinner and a few beers.
Track Sirocco’s
progress
